Alexander ‘Anders’ Tilford/twenty/model and actor/FC: Douglas Booth
Anders is a very reluctant star. He never really intended to be famous, and he’s a little uncomfortable with the attention. He’s still a little nervous in the limelight, and tends to say things that he maybe shouldn’t have in interviews. He’s not a great fan of celebrity culture, and though he’ll go to the parties that he’s expected at, he’ll usually duck out early so he can rest up to be fresh for Sunday League football with his mates in the morning.
He always hated school - he was a decidedly average student academically, but he found it difficult to concentrate and resented being told what to every day - and left on his sixteenth birthday, the very moment he was able to.
After school, he started took on a few minimum wage jobs, but he soon realised tht if school was bad, work is even worse and so never managed to stay in any job for more than a month. One of his jobs was in a central London McDonalds, situated just three doors down from Select Model Management. After he’d been working there for a fortnight, he was already considering leaving and was about to hand in his week’s notice to his supervisor when an Agent from Select walked in to order a coffee, because the expensive coffee house on the corner had closed early. The Agent took a shine to Anders’ smile and invited him to open casting calls the following day.
Three years later, he is one of the biggest male models in Europe and has recently broken into acting by way of a supporting role in a TV period drama which has received a good write up in the tabloids.
